The Hungarian folk dance show Naplegenda (‘Sunlegend’) will be performed at the celebration of Hungary’s national day in Mosonmagyaróvár on the 20th of August.
The city will inaugurate their new natural science exhibition centre, Futura, and celebrate with a four-day long festival between the 17th and the 20th of August.
The last day of the festival will see an outside Holy Communion in the morning along with presentation of the first bread made from the yeast of this summer. The city will then present their Pro Urbe awards, before the Alma band starts the music to entertain all ages. The highlight of the day will see the ever-so popular Hungarian folk dance show Naplegenda taking the big stage.
The organisers expect a great attendance, similarly to last year, when tens of thousands of people celebrated the national day in the city.
