Caramel’s new record, Tuned Up, is out a year following his debut album. The disc features new styles, new ideas, while remaining as sincere and personal as his first record was.
Songs that bring us into the world of blues, funky, eighties disco, hip-hop and even jazz can be heard on the album as well as r’n’b songs. Caramel sings some songs in English, with the same authenticity as he sings songs in Hungarian. From cool lounge songs to dancefloor soundscapes, the LP offers a wide variety of music and feelings.
As a Christmas surprise, Caramel recorded a traditional gospel song which was rearranged by him. This song had already made its live debut and was loved by the audience who heard it.
Along with the ventures into various genres, the album is really a jounrey into Caramel’s musical world, or, as the singer put it, ‘Everything that’s Caramel.’
